Laboratory Type Knife Mill LB 160

The LB 160 micronized mill is a compact grinding solution that operates on the continuous feeding principle and is used in many sectors such as mining, chemistry, food, and pharmaceuticals. With its ability to provide rapid results and its continuous operation feature, it increases laboratory efficiency by ensuring that samples are reduced to the desired micron level homogeneously.

The LB 160 micronized mill, meeting the speed and precision needs of industrial laboratories, exhibits high performance in reducing samples to the micron level. While offering maximum efficiency in limited laboratory spaces thanks to its compact design, it facilitates the grinding of challenging materials with its advanced engineering structure.

The most distinctive feature of the device is its operation based on the principle of continuous feeding and continuous final product discharge. This system provides significant time savings by allowing raw material input and processed product output without interrupting the grinding process. Its ability to deliver rapid results offers an operational advantage for analysis centers with heavy workloads.

TYPE: Knife Mill – Cross Rotor Beater Mill

BODY: Monoblock Cast Body

LINER PLATES: Mn-Cr Alloyed High-Strength Steel Casting

MOTOR POWER: 2.2 kW 380 V 50 Hz (220 V Optional)

APPLICATION AREA: Used as a micronized mill in industrial laboratories within the mining, chemical, glass, fertilizer, food, and pharmaceutical industries.

The LB 160 Mill is a compact solution operating on the principle of continuous feeding and continuous final product discharge, delivering rapid results. It is designed for grinding materials such as minerals and chemicals with a maximum feed size of 30 mm into various particle sizes. For metallic minerals with a hardness of up to 9 Mohs, very fine sizes (e.g., -100 microns) can be achieved progressively. Final products in different particle sizes are obtainable via interchangeable cartridge sieves.

SAMPLE GRINDING TESTS: Output can be obtained in particle sizes such as 0-100 microns, 0-250 microns, 0-500 microns, 0-800 microns, 0-1 mm, 0-2 mm, etc. The ground material is collected in the Product Container located at the bottom of the mill. Custom manufacturing with stainless steel components compliant with food industry standards is available.
